Out With The Old And In With The New

well. this post has nothing to do with fashion at all. just thought you might be interested. i will first make a list of all the things i did this year i wasn't planning on doing when the year started. this like going to Disney world and having two sisters graduated don't count cause i was planning on those things. then of course my list of resolutions.

dyed my hair, duh
started this lovely blog. now to get it open....
i will regret putting this but it counts, getting bedbugs. shut up we will never speak of this again
started and stopped fencing. it gave me mad muscle tone in my legs
spent more time at my friends house then i did in any other place besides my house all year. i never thought it would get that bad.
actually got the kitchen redone. my parents arranged this but i never thought it would happen
had a hurricane actually pass by my house. we've had hurricanes but this one came really close. lucky i live in an apartment so nothing flooded and whatnot.
turned thirteen. i knew this was going to happen but i was not planning on it.
had more fun at thanksgiving then Christmas
there's probably more but that's all i can think of.

now for resolutions
write more
exercise every day
eat less junk and more healthy foods
finish my red riding hood story
earn and save money
start and finish the quibbler
draw more
sew red cloak
sew a poofy skirt
knit a scarf
collect werewolf and vampire swag, for RESEARCH
manage the fine line between clothes,  jewelry, and saving
well. that's it. happy new year
at the end of next year, if I'm still blogging. i will see how many of these things i did.

New Old Things

derp face but you get a better look at the hair.
so, about the two first pictures. i'm tired of just standing like a lump in pics so I'm experimenting with different posses that don't hide the outfit. as it is new years eve i wanted to wear something awesome. but the shirt was dirty and the skirt was missing. so i put this on. a little more forties then intended but it's still nice. the green shoes still look lovely though. i wore my octopus ring and my foxy earrings. my sister's think the fox looks like a bee. see what i have to deal with? the lovely theater key chain my sister got from the drama club in her collage. she didn't want it so she gave it to me. yay! I'm not really a key chain person but this one was just too lovely. I'm trying to make this hair style my go-to-hair. it's really easy just i need to perfect it. finally got around to watching Clueless. so expect a pic spam of that. i wanted to wear something that would glorify the Clueless-ness but then i realized I've already done that in this post. at the time i called it Alexander McQueen and the resemblance is still their but... so Alexander McQueen designed the outfits in Clueless? I'm confused. anyhow, happy new years. may 2012 be better then all my previous years, not that big of a feat.

Hex Ya Green Shoes

ya. tell me you aren't gaping. i know! i went with mum and dad to drop of some stuff of at the salvation army and they let me look around. i found lots of stuff but i knew that i should hold out. but when i saw these shoes. i just... gah. and they were three dollars. they're from a store called 'splash fashion footwear'. ever heard of it. i tried googling it but nothing came up. little bows and a plastic like texture and neon green. I'm not one to go for colorful shoes. i like all my shoes to match anything i so choose but, come on. the heel isn't so over bearing i can't walk. my feet do better in heels cause of my arch but i don't want to look like an idiot. oh and please ignore the Legos in the background. I'm think of banning myself from real stores this spring and making my spring wardrobe all from salvation army's and thrift stores. ya. now to convince my parents to spend money there....

If You Came Back i Would Die

sorry about my mouth. the pose is actually rather flattering but i opened my mouth a bit you can see some of my teeth. they aren't demon teeth despite what the pic would have you believe. anyhow. rather lazy today as i had to go through stuff. my mum and dad always make us to a huge clean out after christmas so i spent all morning sorting through stuff. i think i may have worn this tank top every day for the past week. that's kinda scary. the key one of my sister's friend bought for me. it came on a lovely cord but the cord sheds and scratches my neck. then my clear bracelet which is really one of those rings that scarfs come on. i lost it multiple times and currently i don't know where it is. ya well. stuff

Merry Christmas

well. Merry Christmas. here's what i wore. i haven't had the opportunity to wear this dress out so when i received this belt i knew. like magic. also cause i had been planning an outfit with the dress and belt combined. i wore my sister's old, gold hoops and my black flats. then i went and had Indian food with a third of my family. it was rather fun and we annoyed the restaurant by playing the water glasses. you know, when you dip your finger in water, rub the edge of the glass, and the most horrible, screechy noise you've ever heard comes out. doctor who Christmas special tonight so fun fun fun. then finally Christmas will be over. also, before we went to dinner we explored one of those old insane asylums. like where they keep crazy people. some of the buildings were falling apart and it was rather creepy in a delightful way. i wanted to hop out and have an adventure but people lived there so i didn't. that was an appropriate amount of creepy to make the day better.

Two Different Patterns Are So Eighty's

this is what i wore on Friday. sorry it took me so long to post it. i went to a Christmas party my sister's boyfriend's sisters were hosting. i didn't have a lot of fun but i got to wear this. in honor of my new bag i popped on my horehound pants and my red, checkered shirt. usually i dislike matchy-matchy but this clicked so nicely. i know this pose is rather stupid looking but it is the only picture that came out.  um. Merry Christmas?

Christmas Eve Shenanigans

well. Christmas eve. the best part of Christmas. my sister lent me this sweater and her necklace for the special occasion. the sweater was the closest thing i could come to a horrible, tacky Christmas sweater.  you know the ones with ludicrous patterns and they make you cringe in a happy way. i missed doing my hair up fancy so i put it up in like a beehive bump. i actually don't have a rat under here. Christmas eve consists of eating out with my grandparents, going to church, eating so much sugar, opening presents, and getting in trouble for refusing to go to sleep. i will report back with pics of my loot. off to force myself to get in the Christmas spirit. haven't yet.

My Room

well. I've been on a inspiration streak for a while now. hope you don't mind. these are some pictures of my corner. my sisters and i share a room. most of the room is taken up by books. i don't mind but it means i get very little space for my stuff. so it's all huddled together in one corner. not really going to explain the pics. just hope that they fascinate you.

Christmas Loot Part 2

well. here is the loot i got at family Christmas. the first pic is of Paris Hilton's perfume line, yes yes. it smells like my family. i know that sounds strange but it does. is have been wearing it lately and it probably won't last long. second pic is of my Rapunzel journal. the pages are really pretty. as you can tell in the last pic. that odd scribble stuff is my handwriting. sad, i know. third and forth are of my new box. it is really quite lovely. all covered with Parisian (prob spelled that wrong) scenes. the fashion actually inspired me for my spring line. the last three are of my new bag. my mum and daddy paid for it so i am quite pleased. it's big enough to carry things but not so big that it overwhelms me. also you guys should be able to guess what i am wearing tomorrow based on the patterns. well. that's it for now.

Do Ya Have A Dollar For Me

well. trying out automatic posting time. lets hope that works. today was fencing so i didn't really wear this but when i woke up it clicked. i know the skirt is short and if i was wearing it out I'd put on leggings but i was too lazy this morning. the skirt is actually my purple tank top upside-down. i got to test out my new ring today. i think tomorrow i will wear my military outfit with the vest and hat. wish me luck. well, Christmas is coming and despite not feeling it i am managing not to hate it so that's good. also I'm trying to think of new ways to earn money so i can buy all of the things. ya. any ideas?

Christmas Is Just A Dream Away

well. i haven't gotten my really Christmas presents yet. and i am in need of something to post. so here are pictures of some cool Claire's things that i asked for. and some Claire's things i didn't ask for. no Icing as their website is horrible.

low quality, sorry. but these combat boots i am almost surly getting. my uncle sent my mum and dad 25 dollars to buy me something real. they have to get me a present instead of giving me the money but they are letting me chose. i thought these were a good choice. only 16 dollars so when i grow out of them not that much money will have been lost.

again low quality. i think all the pics will be low quality. sorry about that. here is a hat that i asked for my mum said she didn't buy me any hats cause she was scared they'd get crushed. this is a valid point but i really wanted some hats.

some tights. they have a really nice pattern. and such

these are really cool. they have a army feel. they used to come in green which would have matched my hat and vest but now they only come in blue

this is defently going to help with my girl gang look. so fingers crossed i get it. it was at the top in the bracelet zone so i am alowing myself to get slightly hopeful.

not a big fan of two finger rings cause their so overbearing. but it's a mustache. my dad has always had a mustache so like this basically is a must. i don't get it i think i will have to buy it myself

my mum says she will pay for it just have to get a new bag. mine is so tiny it can't even fit a childrens book. and all my bags must be able at least fit harry potter five. I'm a reader on the train, bus, friends house, all reading all the time. but i never have to buy books cause my sisters own all the books worth owning. really we have tons of books.

very few of the earrings i asked for i really want. but these are to delightful. toxic earrings/ i can kill with my ears now. also my comic book nerdem is reaching new, high levels.

i just. i have always wanted a jabot. and this is the closest i can get at the moment. so basically, succeed.

yes. it's a corset belt. it's the legit version of what i made. top of my list so here's hoping.

i hate people who get fake glasses. but these with the bows were so cute. i'm never going to wear them out but just having them would be fun. sorry my glasses wearing friend. i mean no disrespect.
