The Fairy Left To Kill

is was lovely and rainy today. so i celebrated my favorite weather by dressing up as a fairy? i might be unclear as to the concept here. flowers are very fairy so i took out some of my sisters old garlands they made for drama class years ago.
the dress is actually a old pillow. it has wholes in it so my father bestowed it upon me. and i accepted. then a chance to wear my lovely corset belt again. only worn it once since receiving it for Christmas. sob.
i attempted to fly. fairies aren't my mythological creature so i do not have hidden talents. sorry. under this i wore my old, blue tank top and my purple skirt to give it body. it felt strange walking around with bare arms. as i am a inter person even when it's not cold i wear layers. just make sure its the right month.
i really love my snowflake earrings. they aren't so Christmas that i can only wear them for a month. i really need more jewelry.
so the legendary close up. hello. i tried to make a mischievous grin. it failed. I'm one of those people to give a winning snark, or a glare of triumph. ya. me and my Slytherin ways can never be changed. how do you like that? seriously though. never cross me cause i will kill you in the night. OK. a wee but to much personal information. sorry. the necklace is my sisters. once again, i need more jewelry.tomorrow either has, Hugo, shopping, or both. also it could be staying at home but that thought is unimaginable. it's not like someone in my family actually has to take me places seeing as I'm to young to go out by myself. stop staring.

Just Dance

this one is kinda like Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly. you know that type of style. with the hats and the suits. my brother said i looked somewhat gangster. ya man.
the jeans kinda ruin the feel. i really need a pair of black pants. when shopping this fall i went with the horehound instead of black. i don't regret it but black is something i need. wouldn't like pinstripe shorts be lovely. oh no, idea. curses
i knew my large secret stash of ties would come in handy some day. i used one in this post. that's the only time until now  that you've seen my ties. that saddens my heart as i have quite a lot of them and there all lovely. sob.
painted my fingernails the old purple color i got for my birthday. lovely, as normal.
 ties!!!!!!!
my lovely fedora. my sister's. shush. she never really gave it to me but she hasn't asked for it back. Shush.
so my feeling for old Hollywood glamor guy kinda died. but i still like the outfit. what do you think? seriously guys comment that way i know your reading.

Adventure Time!

I'm trying a new format. after every photo i shall give a little commentary about the outfit and then at the end tell you where it all came from. and any extra notes.
sorry the light is off in this one. bad pic but good focus and pose. my apologies. this outfit is another addition to my adveture theme. this one is kinda like a jungle. with the browns and the hat. you like?
by now you can probably tell how much I'm obsessed with white light. i like how in a yellow lighted pic it's inviting you in. but with a white lighted photo it's pushing you away. i don't like being called into a pic. and no ones aloud in mine.
do you like the candles. kinda a extra touch. i don't know where it came from. the lovely mini skirt esk thing if from my friend. during our clothes swap. i think i came out on top with the clothes swap but I'm not gonna complain.
now before you get any ideas the badly put on eyeshadow is photo shop. it has a lovely brush that allows you to color things without covering the shadow. i just put it on in  wistful editing session. i like how the out of place Victorian style earrings tell you what time it is. I've always been obsessed with the Edwardian-Victorian era so these work lovely.

that always appearing pic of my ring. i need a snake ring so bad it hurts. but for now the mustache ring gets the same atheistic.
I'm a lover of layered collars. so i think you know what i did the moment i realized i was wearing to collars. i wish could do this with all my clothes but the collars have to be along the same lines of style. otherwise you just look stupid. oh well. it worked out nicely today.

the waist is a bit to big so i cinched it with my black belt. also, look at all the buttons. pockets and buttons should rule the fashion world.  I'm serous. go die minimalism. actually i kinda like that trend But You Know What I Mean. yeps. today was slightly pointless in the grand scheme of things. but i finished  'we have always lived in the castle'. everyone must read this book. also i read the sequel to Downright Dency. oh lovely books, you keep me going. night night now

i'm trying to fix the fact that in almost every outfit mroe then half is my sister's

We Have Always Lived In The Castle

so I've been reading "we have always lived in the castle", by Shirley Jackson. i haven't finished it yet so i can't recommended it. but for me it's a pleasant mixture of gothery, murder, metal illness, social awkwardness, hating people, and believing in thing which you made up. also death. and murder. oh, and did i mention goth. so naturally my goth streak returned. only for today, though. it's has a Lolita feel which is nice. the dress is one of my treasures from the Salvation army. i got it to be somewhat girl gang-esk but whats the point of a button down dress if you don't open it to show your petticoat. the only problem with Lolita is it's supposed to be cutesy. and cutesy means short skirts. ya. i held the skirt up with pins. I'm really surprised they stayed the whole day. sorry about all the pics just today's photo shoot went rather well so i had to show you some of the results. we thought that a candle might make a good prop. and we were right. my new bow piece repaired much to my delight. that's kinda all.

The School Girl Has Run Away To The Circus

hello. it's Sunday. bet you didn't know that. Sundays are usually good days. this morning i decided i wanted to put together an outfit for my new sweater. so of course my new favorite skirt must be included. that's two post now containing this skirt with no pics of the waist. my humble apologies. i got the owl ring from my  huge order from a Claire's a while back. i haven't had a outfit to wear it with. until no. my balloon necklace always ads some quirkiness. i advise everyone to have a piece like this. adding it just ads to the whimsical factor. my school girl socks looked right. the briefcase if actually supposed to be a fancy board for backgammon. we lost the pieces to my dad let me have the bag. i can't fit anything in it but it looks nice the bow is i guess a DIY. i just made a bow out of some old ribbon and slipped a clip into the knot. i like the effect. sorry the pics are bad quality. i used self timer and half of the pics were blurry beyond repair. some, though, i managed to fix up on Photoshop.

Audrey Hepburn

so this outfit kinda evolved. first i was gonna do a summer-sailor thing. then i wanted winter cause it snowed. and it turned into a sixties throw back. but ti's still lovely. all new thing from salvation army. so i guess i shall start at the bag. it's really perfect. it's on of those hard clutch like bags. except much larger. it's perfect for school girl, retro, Parisian. almost anything. then the jacket. when i found it i didn't even know what it looked like. i just saw i nice jacket. i found out just how sixties it is when i put it one this morning. the collar. i just love collars. every top i bought has a collar. it's missing a button so i might have to buy a packet and sew new ones on but it'll still look good. the skirt is kinda a mix between sailor and a pencil skirt. sorry i couldn't get you picks of the rocken awesome, button infested, waist. but never fear. no doubt i shall wear it many time sin the upcoming month. the pearls helped add to the vintage feel. i'm not quite sure about the brooch but i missed them so much. I'm  brooch person but very few of my outfits accommodate them. so at the first opportunity i put it on. does it make or brake the outfit. what do you think. to address my two new readers. even though i know you it's lovely having people read my blog. sorry i skirt around with  my fashion sense so much. I'm young and still figuring out what works for me. also I'm a fantasy junkie.

Sea Monster Cupcakes

so this was the tiny cake i made with left over batter. before i put it in the oven i swirled blue dye on the top. i did this with all the cupcakes. it worked out rather nicely
 the side
i frosted it. the blue is the ocean and the snake is supposed to be a sea monster. that what they are. sea monster cupcakes.
 my beautiful plate of cupcakes
 the top
octopus. or giant man eating octopus. your choice
 snake. aka sea monster
this is supposed to be a sea monster coiled around on itself.
and the inside.
i know these have nothing to do with fashion but they were so pretty. my family devoured them. i;m thinking of next making book cupcakes. like with marzipan books. hmm.

Stories Control My Life

It was morning. nothing good every came of this time of day, especially on Saturdays. which today was. I, our would be heroin, climbed out of bed. well, fell out. I rolled over to the tray of food left out for me by the butler. cranberry bread and hot chocolate. I went over to the silver sink and splashed cold water on my face. finally, I was awake. I slipped into her leather pants and my black Victorian style blouse. over this I put on my double breasted red velvet waistcoat and my knee high combat boots. before I go on there are a few things you should know. My name is Crimson Larkin but my sister refers to me as Red. Also I am a vampire. No, I do not want to kill you all and yes, garlic does give me a allergic reaction. I am only 112. My mother is Ewe Larkin, one of the most powerful woman in New York City. while this has its ups and downs it's mostly ups. like being able to get front row standing space when Lady Gaga dropped the ball on new years eve. and any seat I want to Phantom Of The Opera, whenever I want. also there are the downs but that is what this story is all about. so, more about me. cause your dying to know. I have a sister, named Sisko. She is my life. I'm not going to say we tell each other everything, cause we don't. but whenever I'm having a bad day she's the one who will show me no pity and get me back on my feet. She's the one who suggested my color be red. All the of the Larkins have signature colors. this color does not define who we are. we tend to wear it more often. and our names are no longer valid without the color being included in them. so I sign my name Crimson Red Larkin. Anyway. I knew by the fact that the sun was shining it was going to be a bad day. I was right. the day started off with little bad things. like I spilled some hot chocolate on my hand and it hurt. yes, vampires can be burned, to an extent. Sisko and me had a little fight about whether she should continue dating her fiancĂ©. I said she shouldn't' and she said that I should say she should, otherwise she won't. which then turned attention to my fiancĂ©. whom I do not like. he is actually rather sweet and a very good person. I just don't like him. By the time I got downstairs I was fuming. which ruined the fact that my new gun had arrived. Not completely, though. it was a dark brown wood with silver details. One more thing you should know. The whole werewolf-vampire mortal enemies is completely true. in two ways. there's thing gang called the "the Wolves". they do everything from graffiti, which is actually kinda cool, to killing people. Also they are all Werewolves. if my mother is protector of New York The Wolves are the monsters she has to protect it from. these matters usually do not involve me. but more on that later. I went to take a walk around central park. it was winter and it had snowed the night before. I went to my favorite spot. the Alice statue. well, my all time favorite spot is the rambles but they were closed because of damage. the Alice statue didn't have any snow on it. it had all been brushed away. I climbed up into her lap and took out my diary. I don't write what happens to me or even my feelings in my diary. it's a place for my fantasies. despite being a vampire I still longed for an adventure. being the youngest of the Larkin's I'm never included in hunts or killings. I just get to be rich and undead. fun. I wrote for around an hour. wasting time was exactly how I liked to begin my day. as it was Saturday I had no school, fencing lessons or shooting lessons to worry about. by the time I was done writing the Alice statue had gotten more crowded. even in the winter people came and let their kids climb all over it. I always wondered whether the statue was supposed to be climbed on. there was no sign saying you couldn’t but it was rather weird. I played a short game with some five year olds until their parents realized they were talking to strangers and yelled it was time to go. its funny how when your young you know not to talk to strangers but when it comes to playing you invite everyone you see to come and join you. when Sisko and i were young, before the Alice statue was even built, we would play with the human children. then the nanny would drag us away.

this is the beginning of my red riding hood story. tell me what you think
